E-terrra AEMS Engineer

About the Role

This is a 100% remote position based in Edison, NJ, focused on customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems, specifically e-terra AEMS for transmission networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Applications for Transmission software to meet project and product commitments.
• Collaborate with Electric Utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) on functional software specifications.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and tune applications for optimal performance.
• Engage with customers to address day-to-day issues, organize calls, and ensure solutions adhere to change control and compliance protocols.
• Verify that delivered solutions effectively resolve customer issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems, preferably e-terra AEMS (Reliance).
• Experience working on Power Systems applications for transmission, including Load Flow, Contingency Analysis, and Power Factor.
• 5+ years of experience with C++, Java, or other related programming languages.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in the field.

Skills

• Power Systems Applications (PSA) Engineering for Network Transmission.
• Familiarity with Electric Grid systems, including Transmission and Distribution.
