AEM Engineer

About the role

The Apple Digital Experience Solutions and CMS team is seeking an experienced AEM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of core AEM technology and extensive experience with full end-to-end implementations using AEM for Content Management and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Implement Adobe Experience Manager solutions for various projects
• Show deep understanding of core AEM technology and Adobe products like Target and Analytics
• Full end-to-end implementations of websites using AEM for Content Management and Delivery
• Work in-person for interviews
• Experience with AEM 6.4 or newer versions
• Extensive hands-on experience with Sling servlet, REST, JSON, Lucene indexing
• Experience with Coral/Granite UI, Adobe UI customization
• Deep understanding of AEM's security and Access Controls
• Expertise in extending AEM's core functionalities such as Launches
• Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables
• Work with QA, UX teams
• Document and explain core technical processes

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with AEM projects
• Strong Java programming foundation
• Extensive hands-on experience with workflows, Sling servlet, REST, JSON, Lucene indexing
• Exposure to Coral/Granite UI, Adobe UI customization
• Deep understanding of AEM's security and Access Controls
• Expertise in extending AEM's core functionalities such as Launches
• Experience with AEM 6.4 or newer versions
• Working experience with Sightly/Sling models
• Strong understanding of core AEM components such as oak, sling, and dispatcher
• Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven

Qualifications

• Exceptionally good at documenting and explaining core technical processes
• Experience with other CMS systems and a good understanding of DXP area
• Big tech experience preferred
• Java Script experience preferred

Salary range: $70,000 - $125,000 per year
