Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for promoting an efficient work environment with a key focus on the employee’s own safety and the safety of others.
- Responsible to maintain and controlling departmental expenses and regulating workload.
- Supports and ensures adherence to Maintenance standards and procedures.
- Ensures Maintenance documentation remains up to date.
- Acts as lead in root cause failure analysis for problem pieces of equipment.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and promoting personnel.
- Establishes training and testing requirements for skills testing.
- Supports the Engineering department on capital projects as needed.
- Develop, recommend, and regulate down day and repair activities and equipment modifications to optimize equipment reliability and on-stream time.
- Principle contact for contract personnel working on all maintenance activities and engineering projects as needed.
- Responsible for upgrading site E&I systems including electrical power, control systems, lighting, and UPS systems.
- Responsible for all ISO requirements that pertain to planting instrumentation and the E&I department.
- Participation in projects and audits
- Compliance with applicable regulations and occupational safety requirements
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of (5) years of working experience in engineering fields including 3 years supervision of engineering projects and maintenance activities.
- 10 years of Maintenance experience and 5 years of Maintenance supervisory experience may be substituted for an engineering degree.
- Must have extensive knowledge of instrumentation and electrical design and be capable of troubleshooting and re-engineering of plant equipment.
- Must have extensive knowledge of calibration procedures and plant operations.
- Associate or Engineering degree.
