E & I - Journeyman Instrumentation - Alaska

What You’ll Do

• Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments including transmitters, gauges, analyzers, and control valves
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrumentation drawings
• Design and install instrument tubing systems (layout, bending, termination)
• Perform functional loop checks, troubleshooting, and signal verifications
• Support commissioning and start-up activities
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and E&I Technicians to ensure work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical or College Degree preferred)
• Prior Instrumentation experience required
• Journeyman License or Instrumentation Certificate preferred
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks safely
