About the role
Prepares computer and electronic-related commodities for shipping and recycling by ensuring compliance with established standards of Dell Reconnect, partnering recycling vendors, and the GRID.
Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads designated computer and electronic donations from several docks for incoming and outgoing shipments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Sorts computer-related items into various receptacles or designated areas to be shipped out for recycling or to be sold by The GRID.
- Performs hard drive destruction utilizing crushing and shredding machinery.
- Keeps the E-cycling and the GRID area, including assigned dock doors, clean and orderly.
- Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the GRID Store Manager or other members of management.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of electronic repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Forklift license preferred.
