E-Commerce QC & Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities

Swatch Processing & Shipping Products

• Process all swatch shipments in Shopify and ShipStation
• Ship out swatches to customers
• Ensure orders are packed in accordance with e-commerce packaging guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels for swatch packing supplies and materials; alert e-commerce team when running low so a re-order can be placed
• Assist in shipping dress orders during high promotion periods

Receiving

• Assist in shipping and unloading trucks
• Validate and match units received against packing slip
• Sort and place products in designated areas in the warehouse

Returns

• Process all customer returns utilizing Return Magic in Shopify
• Perform quality assurance checks on all incoming returns; communicate to e-commerce team if an item does not arrive in adequate condition
• Send photos to e-commerce team when needed
• Ensure all returns are refreshed, steamed, re-packaged, and re-bagged to comply with JYC quality standards
• Notify e-commerce team when returns are QA’d and approved for return within the designated timeline

Inventory Communication

• Communicate between warehouse and e-commerce team to notify of bulk shipment arrivals, inventory transfer arrivals, etc.
• Maintain inventory counts and perform spot checks of physical inventory vs. system records when needed

Quality Assurance

• Inspect all orders being received and shipped, checking for damages and missing items
• Inspect all bulk shipments to ensure dresses arriving from the factory meet JYC quality standards
• Document QC issues and alert e-commerce team if items are not in proper condition upon arrival
• Assist in minor repairs and stain removal

Other

• Assist in completing physical inventory at the warehouse at least twice per year
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and maintain company standards
• Help keep warehouse clean and organized
