Our client, a growing name in the retail and e-commerce space, is seeking a junior to mid-level E-commerce Project Manager. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring onsite work 3 days a week.

About the role

We’re looking for a Project Manager who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams and business stakeholders to drive projects forward with creativity and precision. This role is ideal for someone who loves understanding how systems work, thrives in collaborative environments, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

You’ll lead projects from initial concept through final delivery, managing relationships with key stakeholders and contributors. Beyond coordinating timelines and budgets, you’ll act as a creative thinker and problem-solver, helping shape business requests into achievable technical solutions. Your day-to-day will involve balancing quick-turnaround projects and longer-term strategic initiatives. You’ll serve as a frontline quality assurance resource, catching issues before they become problems, and help implement and evolve project management best practices to make the entire team more effective. This role reports to the Project Management lead.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements and specs
  • Evaluate trade-offs and recommend solutions to drive informed decisions
  • Align resources and teams to meet project goals
  • Manage project execution, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Drive cross-functional execution to meet milestones and delivery plans
  • Own project scope and timeline management
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and incoming requests
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support project success

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience with technology platforms/services
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with data analytics and data engineering projects
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Comfortable reading pseudo-code and engaging in technical discussions
  • Experience documenting technical requirements and rationale
  • Proficient with tools like Microsoft 365, Lucidchart, Visio, Asana, Jira
  • Experience working with e-commerce teams
  • Understanding of roles within digital product teams
  • Passion for building effective products, processes, and workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience in a retail head office environment
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (such as Snowflake), SQL, and data warehouse patterns
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience in a scrum master role

Schedule

Hybrid onsite 3 days a week.
