Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Maintain clear communication in the eCommerce ordering process and keep records as outlined in the eCommerce protocol.
• Operate cash register and perform checkout procedures efficiently and accurately, including security and cash drawer accounting.
• Use hand scanner and tablet to pick items for eCommerce orders as trained.
• Apply proper bagging techniques for guest purchases in compliance with company procedures.
• Serve as a professional example for other store team members.
• Know product locations throughout the store and select quality products for guests.
• Promote high morale within the department and store through open and honest communication.
• Follow all ID policies for tobacco and alcohol purchases.
• Maintain productivity standards per company guidelines.
• Complete responsibilities within company guidelines and procedures as directed by the eCommerce Supervisor.

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. The role requires physical tasks such as grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, and reaching. It also involves repetitive motion, eye-hand-foot coordination, hearing and responding to customer inquiries, and standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday. The ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
