About the role

Select and gather products for customers' online orders, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars upon customer arrival.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally and promptly.
• Retrieve and verify each customer's order from various staging locations, ensuring accuracy.
• Load orders into customers' cars and process orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order at time of pick-up.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify store e-Commerce supervisor or other store management of items in need of repair.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.

Requirements

• Minimum: Ability to work without supervision, excellent oral/written communication skills, basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Desired: Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier; ability to meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness; ability to adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines; ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner; ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information; ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues; ability to provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.

Pay

Salary range: $15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
