About the role
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver orders to customers' cars during pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
- Initiate and complete the selection process for customers’ online orders.
- Read and follow directions provided in the note section of orders.
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
- Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond professionally and promptly.
- Retrieve orders from staging locations, verify accuracy, and load them into customers' cars.
- Process orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Follow policies for substitutions when items are out of stock.
- Scan and bag orders efficiently while adhering to bagging standards.
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report pricing, scanning, or item location discrepancies and invalid temperature issues to the e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs to the e-Commerce supervisor or management.
- Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
- Adapt to new and improved processes.
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.

Qualifications
- Minimum:
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to read shelf tags.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Desired:
- Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
- Experience stocking shelves or working as a cashier.
