About the role
The Assistant E-Commerce Manager supports the E-Commerce Manager in managing the personal shopping and delivery driver team. They are responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling multiple online orders to ensure timely completion and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to lead, coach, direct, and teach team members.
- Function as department manager in the absence of the E-Commerce Manager.
- Handle multiple orders within a given timeframe.
- Display initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Handle multiple orders within a given timeframe.
- Follow verbal instructions and demonstrate basic computer knowledge.
- Work efficiently and at an acceptable pace.
- Ensure all new department associates receive proper indoctrination.
- Ensure fair and consistent treatment in administering discipline.
- Assist with work schedules and payroll.
- Practice proper sanitation and adhere to Roche Bros. policies.
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and follow Roche Bros. standards.
- Communicate with customers regarding out-of-stock items, substitutions, pick-up, and delivery schedule changes.
- Train and motivate associates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage e-commerce equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Complete training in the E-Commerce department.
- Ability to display initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Basic computer knowledge with willingness to learn.
- Willingness to follow verbal instructions and demonstrate organizational skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
