Summary
Assist E-Commerce Manager with providing leadership, support, & guidance to the E-Commerce team to ensure the smooth flow of daily operations & adherence to Goodwill policies. Requires the ability to drive for company business, which includes a valid driver's license, clean driving record, & proof of personal auto insurance. Must pass driver record & background check.
Supervisory Responsibilities
In absence of E-Commerce Manager, monitor ShopGoodwill & E-Books employees.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facility Operations
- Assist in management of proper processing & separation of incoming donations.
- Ensure E-Commerce maximizes used goods processing through proper application of Production Standards: sorting, preparing, & pricing items for sale. Ensure production goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure maximum sales performance through proper product selection, photography, accurate & concise descriptions, & inventory levels. Ensure E-Commerce meets or exceeds sales goals.
- Ensure E-Commerce is presenting quality customer service in a timely & courteous manner to all shoppers, donors, & employees. Follow-up on all customer complaints within 24-hours of receipt.
- Act as a liaison with Workforce & Family Services for participant program coordination.
- Assure that proper attention is given to department appearance, cleanliness, & environment including but not limited to: aisles, trash cans, lights, restrooms, shelves, window ledges, & doors.
- Ensure that computer equipment, cameras, scales, doors, fire extinguishers, & restrooms are in proper working order. Assist in maintaining a clean & orderly production environment. Ensure machinery &/or devices are in proper working order.
- Ensure merchandise is properly packaged according to shipping vendor specifications.
- Oversee all merchandise for entry into the E-Commerce websites. Monitor photographing & writing for accurate & concise descriptions.
- Oversee inventory tracking system of incoming & posted items.
- Ensure operational guidelines are met specific to facility sales goals & Operations standards.
Loss Prevention
- Keep E-Commerce clean & free of safety hazards. Ensure that safety procedures are understood & followed by all staff & E-Commerce employees.
- Ensure loss prevention matters are reported, investigated, & corrected in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all software programs are working properly for E-Commerce. Contact E-Commerce Manager &/or IT Department when problems arise.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Assist the E-Commerce Manager in hiring, training, evaluating, & managing E-Commerce personnel so as to provide an efficient & effective work force. Maintain morale of work force.
- Ensure store reports, personnel status changes, & client program information is communicated accurately & in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage the assigned department to ensure proper adherence to policies & procedures.
- Ensure proper utilization of Operations & Human Resources (HR) to effectively maintain discipline.
Additional Expectations
- Attend appropriate training & facility/store meetings.
- Work collaboratively with Workforce & Family Services to provide participant services.
- Follow all policies, procedures, & directives of Goodwill Industries assuring safety of personnel or property.
- Properly wear & maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain agency confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
- Comply with all health, safety & fire standards & all local, state & federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA).
- Other duties may be assigned.
Pay
Hourly Wage: $26.75 p/h
