A Day in the Life of an E-Billing Manager
As an E-Billing Manager, your day kicks off by reviewing e-bill submissions and ensuring everything aligns with client-specific billing guidelines. You'll co-lead a dedicated team of client billing specialists, providing guidance on resolving discrepancies and overseeing the timely generation and distribution of invoices. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to address any billing issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. In addition to co-managing the e-billing cycle, you'll dive into financial reports, tracking revenue trends and identifying opportunities for process improvements. You'll build and nurture relationships, ensuring satisfaction with every step of the billing process. Your leadership and keen eye for detail will keep the team motivated and focused on meeting goals while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.

- Proficiency with Elite 3e billing software - This is essential for co-managing our e-billing platforms and ensuring accuracy throughout the billing cycle.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing practices - You must be familiar with legal billing practices and compliance requirements, ensuring timely and precise invoicing.
- Leadership experience - You'll co-lead a team of client billing specialists, so experience managing, motivating, and guiding a team is crucial.
- Exceptional communication skills - Whether you're liaising with attorneys, clients, or internal departments, clear and effective communication is key to resolving issues and building strong relationships.
- Analytical and organizational abilities - From preparing billing reports to identifying opportunities for improvement, your problem-solving skills will drive efficiency and optimize the billing process.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools - You'll be using these skills to track revenue, analyze trends, and present detailed financial insights.
- Education & Experience - A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of billing experience, preferably within a law firm environment.
Pay
The position offers a competitive salary between $115,000 and $127,500, based on experience.
