About the role

Perform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Dynamics department. Dynamics: The branch of mechanics that deals with motion of systems under action of forces usually from outside the system.

Core Responsibilities

  • Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
  • Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
  • Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
  • Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
  • Other - Perform other duties as assigned

Core Requirements

  • Under general supervision; completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures, regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoots and reworks standard tests
  • Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Dynamics principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; basic understanding of AC/DC circuits
  • Able to use all standard Dynamics equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skills
  • Basic MS Office skills

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • AA or AS degree preferred
  • 2-6 Years of experience Working Conditions
  • Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises
  • Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Skills

Pay

The annual base salary target range is $25 - $28/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.
