Key Areas Of Responsibility
- Measure, mix and pour chemicals using standard lab equipment
- Evaluate batches, perform precision measurements and conduct quality assessments
- Assemble PC boards, stepper drivers, power supplies, controllers, test controllers and load code
- Assemble actuators using stepper motors and electrical connectors
- Modify, rebuild, repair, or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment and controls
- Apply knowledge of electronics principles to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment to operation
- Install components, units, and printed circuit boards according to specifications
- Work with customized units and perform adjustments or repairs based on written specifications
- Inspect and test all value-added assemblies prior to shipment
- Pack finished products for customer shipment
Qualifications And Experience
- High School degree, diploma or a GED required
- At least two years of experience in a similar or related role
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and in team settings
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, and motion control software
- Skilled in using electronic test equipment and performing high-quality soldering
- Experienced with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic electronics and mechanics through education or training
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly processes
