Dynamics Developer

We are currently filling the following contract job for our client.Dynamics Developer *Onsite in Richmond, VA 4x/week for the first two months, then 1x/week onsiteOverview: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Dynamics 365 Developer to join their team. This role is critical for designing, developing, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development, with a focus on the Customer Engagement module. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, collaborating closely with IT and business units to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving organizational needs. Initially, onsite presence is required four days a week for the first two months, then once a week thereafter, with some support responsibilities that may include after-hours work.Required Skills:Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly the Customer Service moduleProven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usageAbility to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, design, configure, implement, test, and support Power Platform solutionsProficient in designing and developing web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and C#Troubleshooting and remediation of Dynamics 365 issues, documenting solutions, and working with system administratorsKnowledge of Microsoft licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power PlatformExperience aligning solutions with best practices and governance standards for platform usageAbility to create documentation including requirements, technical analysis, and usage guidelinesCapable of developing mockups/prototypes based on business requirements utilizing Power Platform features and toolsAbility to liaise effectively between IT and business units, managing issue tracking and resolutionNice to Have Skills:Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines, ALM Accelerator)Knowledge of Data Integrations and Migrations using ADF & SSIS PackagesPreferred Education and Experience:Minimum 8 years of experience with Dynamics 365 customization and implementationAt least 5 years of experience with creating and managing Solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer ServiceStrong experience with custom development using .Net, JavaScript, and C#3+ years of hands-on Power Platform and Dataverse experience2+ years of working with ADF & SSIS for data migrationsExperience with standard & premium connectors in PowerApps and Power AutomatePrior experience working with DevOps environments in Power Platform/D365 is preferredOther Requirements:Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environmentComfortable with remote work and supporting after-hours as neededWilling to participate in on-call duties if requiredBring your expertise and passion to this dynamic role and contribute to vital infrastructure projects.
