Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect

As a Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market. Responsibilities Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across multiple environmentsLead technical proof-of-concept (POC) efforts to evaluate solution feasibility, validate architecture approaches, and inform implementation decisionsPartner with the Technical Lead to transition approved POCs into scalable, supportable solution designs and implementation plansCollaborate with Product Owners to define solution strategy, contribute to the product roadmap, and identify future business and technical requirementsDefine and maintain overall Dynamics platform strategy, governance standards, and architectural roadmapsDesign scalable and secure solutions utilizing Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights Journeys, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related technologiesEstablish environment management strategies across Production, Sandbox, Development, and Test environmentsPartner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into solution architecture and technical designsLead solution reviews, design sessions, technical workshops, and architecture governance activitiesOversee solution deployment strategies and release management processesDesign and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Power Platform PipelinesDefine application lifecycle management (ALM) standards, deployment processes, and source control practicesArchitect integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure services, enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party systemsEnsure platform security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and operational readinessTroubleshoot complex platform, integration, application, and performance issuesMentor developers, administrators, and technical team members on best practices and architectural standardsCollaborate with Microsoft support and vendors on critical platform issuesSupport licensing optimization, capacity planning, monitoring, and cost management activitiesMaintain architecture documentation, standards, support procedures, and solution roadmapsParticipate in operational support and production issue resolution as requiredWork within a hybrid schedule, including onsite presence at the Inver Grove Heights (IGH) location approximately two days per week to support stakeholder collaboration, design workshops, and delivery activities Qualifications 10+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions5+ years of experience serving as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Lead Technical ArchitectStrong expertise with:Dynamics 365 Customer ServiceDynamics 365 SalesCustomer Insights JourneysPower PlatformDataverseExperience administering enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environmentsStrong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security models, business rules, plugins, solutions, and environment strategyHands-on experience creating or supporting CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform deploymentsExperience with application lifecycle management (ALM) and release governanceStrong experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure services, APIs, and third-party applicationsExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environmentsProven ability to lead technical design sessions and influence architecture decisionsExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified:Dynamics 365 Solution Architect ExpertPower Platform Solution Architect ExpertExperience with:Azure DevOpsGitHub ActionsPower Platform PipelinesPower Platform CoE ToolkitPower BIExperience supporting large enterprise and highly complex environmentsExperience with customer engagement and contact center integrations (Five9, Microsoft Contact Center, or similar platforms)Familiarity with deployment automation toolsKnowledge of enterprise governance frameworks and cloud security best practices The salary range for this role is $135,000 to $195,000 or the hourly equivalent.
