Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant - Remote

About the role

Optimize D365 F&O post-go-live Maximize system usage and train employees across finance, supply chain, operations, etc. Focus on out-of-the-box features and process improvements

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical consulting for D365 F&O
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize D365 system issues
• Recommend and implement system and process enhancements
• Support configuration changes, enhancements, testing, and deployment
• Lead automation of processes (e.g., invoice automation, document workflows)
• Develop and improve reporting (Power BI, SSRS, Electronic Reporting)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, etc.)
• Assist with system upgrades, integrations, and enhancement projects
• Document solutions, processes, and provide knowledge transfer/training
• Facilitate business process discussions and recommend industry best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on with D365 F&O, especially Supply Chain Management
• Experience in Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Costing
• Automation expertise using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Advanced knowledge of D365 F&O functionality and ERP processes
• Strong reporting skills (Power BI, SSRS, Financial Reporter)
• Proven ability to translate business needs into system solutions
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
