Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care, and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate
  • Monitor physicians' schedules daily for optimal physician schedule
  • Utilize insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment
  • Proficient in clinical, registration, and scheduling software systems; learn new systems as required
  • Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls to the service area, maintaining 95% customer service standards

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Rep (Highly Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available for this position)

Pay

Pay Range: $21.12 - $25.53 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
