Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care, and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate
• Monitor physicians’ schedules daily for optimal physician schedule
• Utilize insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment
• Proficient in clinical, registration, and scheduling software systems; learn new systems as required
• Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls to the service area, maintaining 95% customer-service standards

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Service Rep (highly preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years’ training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available for this position)

Pay

$21.12 – $25.53 per hour.
