About the role

The Division Vice President, Operational & Supply Chain Excellence is a strategic executive responsible for driving operational performance, continuous improvement, supply chain excellence, digital transformation, and operations acquisition integration across the Ultra Precision Technologies (UPT) Division of AMETEK. This position will be ideally located in the Boston, MA area and reports to the Divisional General Manager. As a key member of the divisional leadership team, this role partners closely with Business Unit leaders to establish and execute a division-wide Operational Excellence strategy that improves productivity, quality, customer delivery, working capital, profitability, and organizational capability. The DVP, Operational and Supply Chain Excellence will champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), AI-enabled operational innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with AMETEK's growth strategy and performance objectives. This leader will also play a critical role in M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, global footprint optimization, low-cost region manufacturing strategies, and operational talent development.

Responsibilities

• Establish a vision for Operations and Supply Chain that delivers sustainable growth, margin expansion, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Division and Business Unit leadership teams to develop and execute the division-wide Operational and Supply Chain Excellence strategy aligned with business goals and AMETEK operating principles.
• Participate in annual strategic planning, operating reviews, and executive budget presentations.
• Lead deployment of AI-enabled solutions and digital transformation opportunities that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, workflow automation, and business performance.
• Leverage analytics, automation, ERP systems, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and visibility throughout operations.
• Lead operational due diligence, develop and execute integration plans that deliver operational synergies, improve scalability, and accelerate value creation.
• Define organizational structures and capability requirements necessary to enable business growth and build a talent pipeline through coaching, training, and succession planning.
