About the role
West Orange Veterinary Hospital is seeking a veterinary student extern to join our progressive, high-quality small-animal practice with three locations in Winter Garden, FL. We focus on high-quality medicine, surgery, and dentistry, emphasizing client communication and education. This externship is paid at $15 per hour.
Our practice offers comprehensive care, including Urgent Care, Preventative Care, Surgery, Dentistry, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full-body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Cold Laser Therapy, and Rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Enhance veterinary education through real-world clinical experiences.
- Work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
- Develop strong communication skills with clients and staff.
Requirements
- Must be an active veterinary student from an AVMA-accredited institution (1st through 4th year).
