About the role
Position: Dutch Transcription Expert
Type: Contract
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio samples from Dutch and English into accurate, high-quality written text with correct grammar, punctuation, and context.
- Review, proofread, and edit transcriptions to ensure consistency and adherence to project guidelines.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify ambiguous content and align on transcription standards.
- Assist in annotating transcriptions for specific linguistic features required for AI model training.
- Follow detailed instructions to accurately capture nuances, dialects, and speaker intent in transcriptions.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance transcription quality and workflow processes.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Dutch, with exceptional command of Dutch grammar and usage.
- Professional experience in audio transcription, ideally with proven work on Dutch language samples.
- Familiarity with English audio transcription is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail, with an ability to capture subtle linguistic and contextual cues.
- Experience contributing to AI training, natural language processing, or data annotation projects is beneficial.
Pay
Compensation: $25 - $30/hour
Schedule
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
