The Shift Supervisor leads shifts by ensuring team members provide exceptional customer service, complete their job duties thoroughly, and adhere to brand standards and food safety requirements. The role also involves training newly hired team members and monitoring compliance with cash handling policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service, engage positively with travelers, and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, accurately process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen‑related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Actively cross‑sell and up‑sell products.
• Maintain solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies and procedures.
• Inform plaza leadership of any observations, concerns, or problems.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Cash handling and customer service experience (required).
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience (preferred).
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying of at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
