Responsibilities
- Conceive of and facilitate an age-appropriate tabletop gaming experiences for your class
- Work within 60 or 90 minute class-length constraints
- Create memorable experiences for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for gaming
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!) and prepared for the day
- Help children understand why gaming is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Requirements
- A fun, enthusiastic, adaptable instructor
- Experience teaching school age children
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Knowledge of creating a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- The ability to bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
- Cooperation, supportiveness, flexibility, dependability, proactiveness, and a desire for autonomy
Qualifications
- Relevant teaching experience
- If lacking formal teaching experience, provide any other relevant experience or training
