Dumper/Stacker Third Shift

Responsibilities

• Keeping product flow at an optimal level by assuring proper potato supply.
• Recording cook information in order to account for all dumped pallets.
• Setting up dump room equipment according to the products scheduled to run.
• Ensuring proper procedures are followed for recording pallet information.
• When in Precool (including Sanitation): Identifying and removing damaged baskets.
• Continually placing filled baskets of potatoes onto pallets.
• Assuring that each basket is filled properly with high-quality potatoes and that it is placed properly on the pallet.
• Communicate relevant information to fellow employees on the shift and to oncoming employee, department lead and/or Supervisor at shift change.
• General cleaning of equipment and maintaining good housekeeping throughout the department.
• Accountable for a safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
• Adhere to Quality work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
• Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma accepted.
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to effectively communicate in basic English (both verbal and written) to promote a manufacturing environment that is safe and efficient for both personnel and food.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, work in a wet and cold environment, and work around noise levels in the work environment that range from moderate to loud.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $21.00 per hour.
