Primary Duties
- Haul Wet Haul Concrete using an End Dump
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspection of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, and oil
- Take pictures of questionable machine damage and report immediately
- Ensure all items transported are on the manifest accurate and error free
- Use basic mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance on equipment as required
- Comply with all DOT, state, and local traffic and highway laws, rules and regulations and safely operate all equipment
- Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all DOT and company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
- Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass a full background check required for military base site access
- Valid, Unrestricted Class B CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Company Vehicle Program Policy
- Experience Basic Computer Skills Required (Email, Smart Phone, Excel)
- Proficient in operating manual (stick shift) transmissions, as all available equipment is manual
- Experience with hauling wet haul concrete preferred
Pay
Davis Bacon Rates on applicable projects.
Schedule
This position may include day or night shift work, overtime and weekend work.
