Responsibilities
- Facilitates group and education sessions
- Manages assigned client caseloads
- Performs general trauma-informed counseling strategies
- Facilitates collaborative treatment and recovering planning
- Maintains clarity of roles and boundaries
- Makes appropriate referrals to clinical team
- Identifies strengths, coping resources, and resilience of clients
- Ensures the physical and emotional safety of clients
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified by and AOD organization or in good standing as an Associate / Intern through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Two years experience providing counseling services in the field of alcohol and/or mental health

Salary range: $22.00 - $25.75 per hour, non-negotiable.
