About the Role

Maintains the plant in a clean and orderly condition, empties trash cans, cleans equipment, moves material, sweeps, and performs other inter-departmental functions such as painting, sandblasting, and steam cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant in a clean and orderly condition by sweeping floors and emptying trash containers.
• Periodically operates fork truck and hoists to move material.
• Operates steam cleaner to clean parts and equipment.
• Operates parts washer to clean parts and equipment.
• Operates sandblaster to remove undesired surface finishes.
• Operates paint booth.
• Operates band saw.
• Fills up gas bottles for fork trucks.
• Drives pick-up truck or car for local pick-up of miscellaneous supplies.
• Must obey all safety rules associated with the equipment operated.
• Performs other labor functions as directed.

Requirements

• Use tape measure.
• Proper operation of fork trucks.
• Proper operation of cranes.
• Safety training (Haz-Com, Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, BBP, High Voltage, Lifting).
• Knowledgeable of ISO.
• Operate sandblaster.
• Operate grinders.
• Operate steam jenny.
• Operates vehicle (has a valid driver’s license).
• Operates paint booth.
• Operates band saw.
• Properly fills gas bottles for fork trucks.

Pay

This role pays $20.53/hour.
