Due Diligence Analyst
Responsibilities
- Perform upfront due diligence reviews, including credit, AML, and risk policy review and approval.
- Determine lessons learned from onboarding clients to enhance the end-to-end client experience.
- Collaborate with risk partners and stakeholders to manage risk effectively.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by advising on operational risk initiatives and monitoring key risk indicators.
- Support risk identification, measurement, and mitigation for new products and services.
- Utilize process orientation and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on risk management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of merchant acquiring experience working at a sponsor bank or managing the sponsor bank relationship with clients.
- 3+ years of operational risk management and payments experience.
- Understanding of Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover rules and regulations.
- BIN Sponsorship Program Experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with card brand bank sponsorship on-site audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage new policies, procedures, and teams.
- Experience working directly with sponsor banks in the merchant acquiring business.
- Sponsor bank experience.
- Organization, project management, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build a team, delegate, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
