Dual Language Immersion Teacher (Spanish-Candidate Pool) - 195 Day

About the role

This position plans and implements a Spanish dual language immersion instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5. This position manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, modifies instructional activities as required, and carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Manages student behavior
• Affords assessments and evaluations of student achievement
• Modifies instructional activities as necessary
• Carries out various student monitoring and control activities in both Spanish and English
• Serves as a general education, bilingual elementary classroom teacher (K-5)
• Works independently in a unique teaching specialty if applicable
• May be assigned to reading or technology labs
