DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION TEACHER (SPANISH) - 195 DAY

Full-time, 195-day position based in Woodbridge, VA.

About the role

This position plans and implements a Spanish dual-language immersion instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5. The teacher manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, modifies instructional activities as required, and carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities in both Spanish and English. Work is performed under the general supervision of a principal or designated administrator.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Spanish dual-language immersion instruction in a K-5 classroom setting (single, team, or departmental).
• Assess and evaluate student achievement, adapting instructional activities as needed.
• Manage student behavior and implement student monitoring and control activities.
• May be assigned to reading or technology labs.
