About the role
The Dual Diagnosis Therapist at Davis County Jail will provide clinical services to inmates with co-occurring disorders, focusing on mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
- Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent license
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment models
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
