Job Summary The Inpatient Therapist will interview and evaluate patients and family members to identify social, emotional, and economic factors for the adult population. The Develops and implements a social work treatment plan to patients and family; selects and utilizes community resources as part of the treatment plan; makes referrals to and coordinates with other professional disciplines or agencies; provides psycho-social therapy using a variety of treatment methods; participates in multidisciplinary health team conferences to formulate the overall patient care plans by interpreting to the team the psycho-social aspects of the patient’s illness; assists in the coordination of the discharge plan. Shift Schedule: Weekend Shift Job Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social workCurrent Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardRegistered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health ExaminersPrior experience in a healthcare settingFamiliarity with regulatory requirements related to:Demonstrated skill in patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluationStrong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and oral)Excellent customer service and patient relations skills Job-Specific Duties: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and familiesDevelop, implement, and regularly update individualized care and discharge plansProvide counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive services to patients and familiesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient careEducate patients and families on available community resources and support servicesMake mandated reports and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentationParticipate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement activities If you are passionate about making a difference and seeking a supportive team environment to grow your skills, we welcome your application. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices.
