DTVB-Night Cleaner

About the role

The Night Cleaner ensures all specified areas are cleaned and maintained to the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, providing floor care, deep cleaning, and spot cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all designated areas, including back-of-house spaces and flooring.
• Provide consistent floor care to specified surfaces.
• Perform deep cleaning or spot cleaning of furniture, carpets, and flooring when required.
• Comply with all department processes and core values.
• Deliver professional guest service, exceeding expectations and creating a “WOW” experience.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of assigned areas for cleanliness; report repairs via maintenance request slips.
• Interact professionally with fellow associates.
• Address guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Complete safety training and adhere to procedures and regulations.
• Report unsafe work conditions, safety violations, or security issues per company policy.
• Complete special projects with appropriate training as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to read, write, and speak basic English.
• Able to apply basic mathematical skills.
• Able to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variation.
• Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items repetitively during the entire shift.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is desirable.
