About the role

The DSST Assistant Sports Coach 1 & 2 positions are seasonal, temporary roles at DSST Montview High School. These positions run from August 10th to October 26th and offer stipends ranging from $1700 to $2,000.

Responsibilities

• Liv[e] and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community
• Reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and goals of individual athletes and the team
• Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on technique, strength, endurance, and skill development
• Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols
• All coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses
