DSST Montview HS: Boys Soccer Assistant Coach

About the role

The DSST Sports Coach position is a seasonal, temporary role at DSST Montview High School. Coaching positions are available for Boys Soccer, with season dates from August 1, 2026 to November 1, 2026. Stipend amounts range from $2,000 to $4,000.

Responsibilities

• Liv[e] and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community.
• Reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and goals of individual athletes and the team.
• Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on technique, strength, endurance, and skill development.
• Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
• All coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses.

Ideal Qualifications

• Coaching Experience:
• Experience working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Knowledge of sports nutrition and injury prevention.

Pay

Stipend amounts range from $2,000 to $4,000.
