About the role

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a DSP IV-Campus/Shift Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing activities at state-supported living centers, ensuring facility-wide staff coverage and client protection.

Responsibilities

  • Attends work regularly and works specific shifts as required.
  • Ensures adequate staffing and resolves staff conflicts.
  • Makes staff reassignments and supervises units as needed.
  • Communicates issues to administrators and documents daily findings.
  • Serves as the contact person for abuse/neglect allegations and critical incidents.
  • Monitors and documents the use of restraints and conducts audits as requested.
  • Trains and coaches staff on policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
  • Pass a fingerprint background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks.
  • Eligible for Selective Service registration.

Pay

$4,094.50 - $5,094.16 per month

Schedule

Regular night shift, with potential for additional pay for evenings, nights, and weekends.
