About the role
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a DSP IV-Campus/Shift Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing activities at state-supported living centers, ensuring facility-wide staff coverage and client protection.
Responsibilities
- Attends work regularly and works specific shifts as required.
- Ensures adequate staffing and resolves staff conflicts.
- Makes staff reassignments and supervises units as needed.
- Communicates issues to administrators and documents daily findings.
- Serves as the contact person for abuse/neglect allegations and critical incidents.
- Monitors and documents the use of restraints and conducts audits as requested.
- Trains and coaches staff on policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Pass a fingerprint background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks.
- Eligible for Selective Service registration.

Pay
$4,094.50 - $5,094.16 per month
Schedule
Regular night shift, with potential for additional pay for evenings, nights, and weekends.
