About the role

AHRC NYC will be holding a VIRTUAL HIRING EVENT for Full & Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for multiple Queens residences.

Virtual Hiring Event: Thursday, August 27th from 9am-2pm.

Pay

$20.60–$20.96 per hour depending on position and driving status. All positions include a full benefits package, which includes free medical insurance.

Schedule

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week, 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm shifts (Driver’s License Required)
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Overnight 11pm–9am Monday night–Thursday night (Driver’s license NOT Required)
• Part-Time: 30 hours per week, Overnight 11pm–9am Friday night–Sunday night (Driver’s License NOT Required)

Weekend availability required for most positions.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)

Requirements

• Must be willing to work weekends
• Valid NY or Tri-State driver’s license for more than one year, in good standing (required for some positions)
• Personal or professional experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred
• Professionalism, integrity, and excellent communication skills
• Patience is a must
