Job Description

AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple Downtown Manhattan residences.

PAY RATE: $20 per hour. In addition, this position comes with a comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.

Hiring Event Details

DATE & TIME: THURSDAY JANUARY 29th, 2026 from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION: Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates.

Position to be Filled

• 40hr Evening shift: 2pm-10pm
• 40hr Weekday Overnight shift: 10pm -8am...Tuesday - Friday nights
• 30hr Weekend Overnight shift: 10pm-8am...Friday- Sunday nights

Qualifications

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED, highly preferred.
