DSP Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design communications systems, associated algorithms, and their components, including RF filters, signal modulation/demodulation, channel equalization/channel estimation, channel coding (FEC), RF signal acquisition and recovery, RF frequency control (AFC), and RF gain control (AGC).
- Handle mixed signal requirements, including quantization and algorithm fixed point implementations.
- Use MATLAB, Python, or X-MIDAS tools for algorithm design/validation and test vector generation.
- Employ Vivado design and simulation tools for FPGA architecture design and HDL implementation of signal processing algorithms.
- Have 5+ years of experience designing FPGA solutions.
- Hold and maintain a security clearance due to U.S. citizenship requirement.
- Develop embedded software and interface with FPGAs in tightly coupled processor configurations (such as Zynq MPSoCs / RFSoCs).
- Program hardware peripherals for both digital and analog devices.
- Create FPGA build scripts using TCL/Make within virtualized environments such as Docker.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with embedded software development and interfacing with FPGAs in tightly coupled processor configurations (such as Zynq MPSoCs / RFSoCs).
- Experience with hardware peripheral programming and control for both digital and analog devices.
- Experience creating FPGA build scripts using TCL/Make within virtualized environments such as Docker.
