DSP (Direct Support Professional with Experience)

Join our team and make a difference every day by supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll empower individuals, promote independence, and ensure their safety, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship
• Encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation
• Implement individualized care plans and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs)
• Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community activities
• Provide reliable transportation as needed
• Accurately document services, progress notes, and goal tracking
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and agency policies

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) required
• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs and implementing BSPs preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
