DSP: Direct Support Professional
Responsibilities
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
- Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
- Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Providing personal care assistance.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
- A valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
- A Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Direct Support Professional A Great Opportunity / $17.30-$18.30 per hour At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes.
