Are you eager to take your truck driving skills to the next level? We have an opportunity within the Maintenance and Operations Division (MOD) to enhance your career as a Truck Driver 2 located in Medical Lake, WA.

Shift

Monday-Friday 5:30AM to 2:00PM.

What You Will Do

  • Drive one and operate medium to large trucks, special vehicles, large vehicles and large delivery vans.
  • Pick up and deliver various supplies, equipment, and furniture by operating a forklift or hand dolly.
  • Pick up refuse containers by operating a garbage truck.
  • Affords assistance in the collection and transporting of recycled materials.
  • Clean exterior and interior of vehicles including vacuuming.
  • Transport clients and patients.
  • Deliver food and laundry.

What We Are Looking For

  • Work indoors and outdoors with all tools and equipment relevant to the transportation trade.
  • Drive and operate a variety of vehicles and equipment such as trucks, van, forklifts, etc.
  • Perform the physical requirements of this position.
  • Work around potentially hazardous chemicals such as gasoline, diesel, and contaminated laundry.
  • Should possess a CDL class A or B license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction.

Who Should Apply

  • Drivers with no restrictions on their Class B CDL with a P-1 Passenger Endorsement with no Air-Brake restriction up to 26,000 GVW.
  • Valid driver's license free from serious traffic violations.
  • One year of experience operating commercial class vehicles of at least 18,000 GVW and/or transporting passengers.

Note

  • One year as a Truck Driver 1 for Washington State, will substitute for this experience.
