Position Summary
Manage all aspects of the DSD/Vendor Receiving and accurate pricing throughout the store.
Essential Functions
- Follow dress code.
- Follow policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Ability to maintain total control of the receiving process to include following established receiving policies and procedures.
- Follows established guidelines for completion of all required forms, records, reports and verify receipts.
- Verify cost, count, and quality of incoming merchandise.
- Authorize the entry of vendors through the back of the store.
- Operate computer and related equipment.
- Follow detailed instructions to operate equipment.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
- Perform required item file maintenance using computerized point of sale system.
- Remove and replace shelf tags to appropriate location.
- Generate new shelf tags, as necessary, using computer and printer.
- Perform required item file audits and shelf price audits to ensure accurate pricing.
- Make signs for all displayed items using computer and printer.
- Ability to open and close industrial doors.
- Perform all job functions at acceptable speed and accuracy with limited supervision.
- Operate cash register system and properly bag customer's purchases.
- Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- No experience necessary.
- Basic computer skills.
