Job Summary

We are now hiring a Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN) to join our healthcare team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $42 hourly.

About the Role

The Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN) plays a crucial role in ensuring our staff is well-trained to deliver high-quality care to our residents. This position is committed to person-centered care, trust, communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment.
• Affirm staff's knowledge, skills, and attitudes to perform assigned duties safely and effectively.
• Monitor nursing staff activities to ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate standards.
• Direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as LPN/LVN in the state.
• Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must have a supervisory experience.
• Experience with PointClickCare is a nice to have.
