About the role

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. This position requires continuous walking and standing on a concrete surface, frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and repetitive hand/wrist movements for 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Identify patterns at eye level
• Sand blast chills
• Place chills on pattern and repeat process for all patterns on daily schedule
• Work as a team within the department and with other departments and Leads
• Pack molds with sand
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in reading and interpreting work instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good communication skills
