DRYER OPERATOR - PM Shift

Duties And Responsibilities

• Filling/Emptying dryer bins.
• Make the machinery is working properly.
• Move product from wash tanks to dryers to elevators.
• Use hand and eye coordination to operate the overhead conveyor/hoist system.
• Maintain a steady flow of product out of the dryer room and onto the scale mezzanine.
• Inspect product and equipment for possible contaminants.
• Extensive climbing, pushing and pulling throughout shift.
• Ability to quickly react to fast-paced and constant maneuvering of dryer baskets and carts between wash system, dryer deck, and elevators.
• Any other work-related duties assigned by your Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to tolerate working in a very humid/warm environment.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to climb stairs frequently.
• Must be highly organized.
• Must have good oral communication skills.
• Must have a team player attitude.
• Must be able to work weekdays and weekends.
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
• Hands-on ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand and follow posted work rules/ procedures.
