Pay
- Starts at $20.04/hr

Requirements
- Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist trainer/educator in a salon, barber shop, or spa (exceptions considered for exceptional candidates)
- Current and valid state Cosmetology license
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience as a stylist
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Support surrounding Drybar shops by conducting auditions, training, and ensuring understanding of new products, retail supplies, and shop compliance
- Foster a positive morale, implement problem-solving strategies, and execute tasks impeccably
- Uphold Drybar standards for service quality, including quality control checks and providing feedback to shop management
- Facilitate consistent and effective training for all shop team members in alignment with Drybar standards
- Conduct and lead orientation training for new hires, covering blowout techniques, paperwork, onboarding, services, and client experience (3 days for new hires, 1-2 days for rehires)
- Identify ongoing training and developmental needs for stylists, providing constructive feedback and recognizing successes
- Provide in-person shop support, completing a minimum of 20 blowouts weekly to lead by example and boost client count
- Conduct stylist interviews and auditions to assess technical capabilities
- Train team members on new products, tools, and promotions
- Assist in managing shift leads, stylists, and bartenders, ensuring understanding of team member handbook, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, federal/state/local regulations, health department, and cosmetology board standards
- Adhere to Drybar’s Timekeeping Policy, reporting all time worked accurately
- Monitor shop inventory, assist with stocking products, tools, and supplies, and support inventory management as directed
- Provide staff with weekly updates on styling services, product launches, and other relevant information
- Assist with administrative tasks and provide sales/training feedback and metrics to management
- Participate in leadership calls to address business needs around technical education and drive sales
- Ensure stylists meet the 45-minute requirement for blowouts through ongoing advanced education
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries within 8 working hours
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and team-building events
- Follow and comply with the Company’s Employee Handbook, policies, and work rules
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-unit/multi-state retail operations and consumer products organizations
- Bilingual (Spanish)
