Drybar Shops

About the role

We are looking for a Shift Lead / Cosmetologist who will supervise shop staff, lead the client experience, and ensure Drybar standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop staff (Bartenders & Stylists) on assigned shifts.
• Lead client experience from check-in to check-out, ensuring Drybar standards are upheld.
• Assign clients to stylists, delegate tasks to bartenders and stylists, and execute meal period and break schedules.
• Monitor shop inventory, check back bar and retail supplies, and place orders to meet supply level standards.
• Train new bartenders on using Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values.
• Ensure stylists complete blowouts in under 45 minutes.
• Implement problem-solving strategies and maintain awareness of shop operations.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Follow Drybar’s timekeeping policy and supervisor policy addendum.
• Report all time worked for self and others in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and advanced hair styling & finishing skills.
• Ability to perform a blowout in under 45 minutes.
• A desire to provide exceptional service to clients and staff.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

Cosmetology students attending school may apply but must have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist.

Pay

Competitive hourly wages beginning at $19.87 per hour, plus tips, retail & productivity bonuses:

• $1.50 for every add-on performed.
• $3 extra for each blowout after 20 blowouts in a shift.
• Up to $10 for every membership sold.
